a bit about the artist

Elexix has always felt most alive in nature—gathering shells, stones, and bits of driftwood like small whispers from the earth. Growing up on the beaches of Salinas, she learned to see beauty in the details the tide left behind.

What began as collecting soon became creating. Each piece she shapes carries a trace of the natural world and a spark of wonder. She moves easily between mediums—sculpting, painting, wiring, pouring candles, carving wood—guided by curiosity, not rules.

But when clay first met her hands, it felt like coming home. In its texture and weight, she found a way to root her imagination, giving shape to the quiet magic she’s always seen in the world around her.
